Over the next few months, Fisk Marine Insurance International, LLC, will be appearing at several events connected to the world of diving and marine insurance. If you are in the New Orleans area around any of the following dates, you can find us here to learn more about proper insurance practices for vessels, crew and equipment. - Underwater Intervention (February 10-12): This event will cover two major areas of professional underwater operations, primarily featuring exhibitors in the Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) and commercial diving industries. According to the UI official website, there will also be representatives of related fields in attendance, including ocean engineering and marine salvage, among others. Last year, more than 2,650 people were in attendance. Fisk Marine Insurance will be at Booth #223 at the Morial Convention Center.
- Divers Welcome Seafood Boil (February 10): This is an annual gathering hosted by us at the Howlin' Wolf in New Orleans. Not only does it coincide with both the Underwater Intervention conference and the local Mardi Gras season, it's a great way to come meet us informally in a fun social setting. The festivities will take place between 5:30 and 8:30 PM.
- Workboat Maintenance and Repair Conference and Expo (April 14-16): Visitors will have the opportunity to hear about EPA regulations, structure and hull construction and power and propulsion systems. Product demos, roundtable discussions and keynote addresses are all included in the schedule, available online here. This event will also be held at the Morial Convention Center, and Fisk Marine Insurance will be exhibiting at Booth #701.
