Every year, Fisk Marine Insurance International appears at the Underwater Intervention trade show in New Orleans, and 2016 will be no exception. This event brings together representatives from many related marine industries, including Commercial Diving, Marine Salvage and Shipwrecks and Manned Submersibles, according to the official website. This year, the conference will take place between February 23 and 25 at the Morial Convention Center Hall.

Business owners, operators and consultants in many different branches all attend the conference, as do marine insurance agents. The event offers special registration perks to ADCI Certified commercial divers, who can obtain free three day access to the floor provided they can present current identification. Fisk Marine will appear at Booth Number 508 at the 2016 event, alongside Ocean Technology Systems and Deep Trekker, Inc.

Registration for the event will begin at 7:00 AM on February 23.

Registration for the event will begin at 7:00 AM on February 23 in Hall D and run until 5:00 PM that evening. Exhibits will open at 9:00 AM, along with the Demonstration Tank, and the day will conclude with an awards dinner for those who have purchased tickets (and are in business attire). This dinner will take place in the Hampton Inn and Suites, while another dinner, this one on Tuesday night, is listed as occurring in "Local Restaurants."

Each day will also feature a set of technical sessions, and special groups like the American Welding Society Underwater Welding Committee and the ROV Committee will meet at different scheduled times. Exhibitor moveout will close the event between 2:00 and 8:00 PM on the final date.

As the leading commercial diving insurance provider, Fisk Marine continues to attend important local events. Be sure to revisit this blog as the date gets closer for more information.
